WHALE WATCHING SEASON – COME ON DOWN!!
The southerly migration of whales down the east coast of Australia has reached Eurobodalla and while Sydney and the north coast are almost at the end of their whale watching season, ours can now take the limelight it deserves!
This year, Eurobodalla Tourism will manage a Whale Watching Campaign incorporating social media – Twitter and Facebook so if you want to know where the big fellas are, then logon and follow. With the support of local bloggers and tweeters we will be providing instant tweets via mobile phone about whale sightings from Durras to Mystery Bay. Now the breeding grounds, like the sponge gardens, kelp beds, mangroves, and seagrass habitats have been protected, while still leaving over 80% of the Park available for recreational fishing 
Take a walk on the wild side Where else in Australia can you go for a long bush or rainforest walk and encounter birds, wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, the rare tiger quoll, owls.. the list goes on. The area is home to some amazing National Parks and State Forsts
