One of the most affordable festivals in Australia, the annual Moruya Jazz festival is a three day spectacular that takes jazz to the pubs, clubs, streets, restaurants and parks of Moruya in a vibrant and exciting celebration of all that is jazz!
Musicians and audiences mingle in many venues throughout the heritage town of Moruya, on the beautiful south coast of NSW, enjoying an eclectic collection of music and performance. The music begins on Friday afternoon and traditionally continues until late on Sunday afternoon when fans and bands traditionally gather in the Monarch Beer Garden.
By popular demand the 2010 line-up is a return of old favourites, patron Mike Hallam’s Hot Six, Al Davey and the MonSTARS and the hugely popular Waiting For Guinness. The Festival of Voice which proved so successful last year will once again provide an exciting and spectacular focus for individual singers, small singing groups and choirs
The Moruya Jazz festival is a not-for-profit event. Surplus funds are donated to local charities
